Pope Puts Foot in Mouth—again

Pope Francis flubs up again. Recently he made the serious gaffe of telling folks “they need not breed like rabbits.”

Now, he has offended the Mexican people by referring to the possible “Mexicanization” of his native Argentina from drug trafficking,

The Vatican is now having to do damage control over the Pope’s unkind remarks. It’s pretty apparent that they are going to have to select a team to follow him around to try and rectify what comes out of his mouth.

“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” Matt 12:34

The Pope is just a man, and as such, he is not infallible. Infallibility is a divine attribute. The Pope needs to come down off that pedestal and stop pretending he is something special. Jesus had that right, but chose instead to lead by example, being a humble servant rather than an exalted leader during the time he walked the dusty roads, hedges and highways of this sinful earth.

 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:25-28
