But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. – (Matthew 18:6)

A millstone is:

1. Either of two circular stones used for grinding something (such as grain)
2. Something that grinds or crushes
3. A heavy burden

*In scripture a millstone around the neck is understood to be the punishment of anyone who harms children.
