There is not a more controversial topic in the body of Christ than the idea which says Christians struggle from time to time with sin. From the moment of someone’s salvation, they are told, and rightly so, that salvation has been made complete because the person has made Christ their savior and they have placed their trust into the finished work of salvation. (Romans 10:9) But do Christians still continue to sin? Or do they merely struggle with sin?

The first question that needs to asked is, what IS sin? By pure definition, sin is an act, whether mental or physical that violates God’s moral law. The word says that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23.
