That’s pretty straightforward isn’t it? And I have found God’s Word faithful. He will do what He promises to do in His Word in behalf of those who will obey and believe. Believing is the essence, and application of FAITH.
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed“. 1 Peter
Past tense! We WERE healed! The provision was made!
I’ve posted this video by Kenneth Hagin because the very day I was baptised with the Holy Spirit, I didn’t understand why at the time, but the Spirit led me to the Christian Book Store where I began buying Kenneth Hagin books. I’d never even heard of this man before, but as I studied the Word of God and these little booklets, I began to apply the healing teachings in my own life, and receiving wonderful healings and also when I prayed for others. I just accepted God at His Word and God responded.
OK, so, I’ve heard all the bad gossip about Kenneth Hagin and I don’t know what he did toward the end of his life and whether any of that was true or not. One thing I do know is that Satan loves to discredit people, and he certainly has an agenda to keep people sick, and in doubt, and away from the truth about divine healing.
But one thing about the teachings of Kenneth Hagin regarding healing, I would hazard a guess that he was the most instrumental man in post modern times of accurately teaching the principles of divine healing and seeing these healings manifested in people’s lives.
Again, how do I know this, because I not only practiced it, but saw others do the same and saw awesome healings manifested and the Power of the Holy Spirit in action.
So then, how has the church gotten away from this? I’m not sure, except that a lot of apostasy has crept into the church. I can also admit that it had gotten too easy for me to take advantage of the great medical insurance I acquired, whereas, back in the day, I had to go to Jesus.
Leaven creeps in. Now, I feel prompted by the Holy Spirit to repeat the “first works” and go back and study these teachings and biblical principles all over again. Christians have become accustomed to running to the Dr, but sometimes a disease can attack for which there is no medical cure.
What I’ve noticed is that so many in the church today are sick because they’ve never been properly taught about divine healing, much less seen it in action and I’m telling you, once you see someone healed or experience a major healing yourself it’s a glorious thing.
Look, if God is God, (and He is), He is therefore a supernatural being, who created the world, the Universe and everything in it. And we are to doubt Him for a simple thing like healing??? NO! He will allow us to go ahead and suffer and remain sick if that’s our choice. But His desire is to heal and make whole.
Read the gospel of Mark, I urge you. Not just read it, STUDY IT! And if you or a loved one has need of healing, study these teaching videos. I don’t think you will find anything amiss or that doesn’t line up with the Word of God. Praise Jesus. He is the healer!
