God is Not the God of Denominations!

“For there are times and seasons in this earth that are of Me. Now is the time to see that your heart is dedicated completely, totally, to the ways of the Lord. Now is the time to see that you are completely focused on the ways of God and not the ways of the world.

This is the time I am bringing a correction to My church. This is the time I am bringing a correction to My church. This is the time I am bringing a correction to My church. And those who are caught up in denominations I will change. They will either have to turn from Me and serve the denomination, or turn from the denomination and serve Me.

For I do not serve a split-up church. I serve a church in one faith. Did I not say so in the Word: one faith. And I serve a people of one faith who are not arguing with denominational differences which make no matter to Me.

I seek not whether your doctrine is technically accurate or not. My main concern, says the Lord, is that you have your heart turned on to Me, and to My ways, and to My Word.

When I see that, I can take anything and change it. Look at Saul. Look at Saul, before he became the apostle Paul. He persecuted the christians because his heart was dedicated to the things of God, and he thought the christians were wrong. But I took that man and I changed him. I looked at the heart of Saul. The heart of Saul wanted truth. He just did not know what it was. He had it all mixed up. He had it backwards. But I took the apostle Saul, and I made him exactly that, an apostle; renamed him Paul, and had him write a large part of My Word.

Why is it you cannot see this? It is the heart dedicated to the things of God that count—to the things of the Son, and to the things of the Spirit. This is what I need. This is what I want. This is what My hearts desire is.

If you are a little inaccurate in one thing, or one belief, or one other little thing because you don’t understand something, I will correct it. I will show you truth. But I need your heart dedicated to Me. Not sitting down in some corner church arguing why you are right over some other corner church.

For those who fight against Me will loose. For when christians fight against christians they shall loose!

Beware of those who are always trying to win some theological argument. I’m not into that! I’m not into that, says the Lord of Heaven and earth! I’m not into that!

I’m into service—heart dedication. I’ll correct your errors, but you see that your heart is to Me, says the Lord God of all!”

Is Your Doctrine Divided?

Is your doctrine divided?

“Do you say, “I am of this denomination” or “I of that movement” and “I of this teacher”

It is so easy to allow the revelation of other men to dictate our lives. These men are used of God but none were crucified for you! Early in my Christian walk I had no confidence to hear from God in His Word. I was hungry yet I turned to books written by men and only occasionally read scripture in comparison. Book after book after book until I was totally confused. I resembled these men’s version of Jesus and their view of the Christian lifestyle instead of Him Who sits on the throne and the walk He called me to. This will prevent us from having the mind of Christ. I see so often those in the church will follow a prophet or teacher who has written books and holds conferences, they promote individuals who are but men, and many times will follow them indiscriminately and consequently will receive the error that accompany these men. Many times the same will stop following one – to follow another. This always indicates immaturity; we have yet to get to God’s “more excellent way”. God allows this only temporarily and will use these immature ways in our life in spite of our improper balance and sedition to these men, but there will one day come the REBUKE to mature in – “what food” we have ordered for our table.

Never exalt one dish over another dish.”

Starting a Church?

worship canceled

Webmaster note: Many professing Christians today claim that God has charged them to form themselves into “local churches” with certain duties that only it can do. They also claim that disciples cannot do these “certain duties” except through the “local church.” You never read anywhere in the New Testament about this, but yet this is what many assume!

They assume that we must start so-called “churches” in order for us to carry out God’s purposes in the world. They say that first, you must realize that Christ was forming your little group into a “church”. Next, there must be a commitment to “public worship”; and after that, a commitment to the Bible’s order of so-called “church government.”

Then, we must “recognize a man or some men as elders and/or pastors;” “constitute ourselves;” “sign a covenant;” “adopt a confession of faith” and “ipso facto, abracadabra,” we now have a real church that has just been born! None of these things, mind you, is even alluded to by any stretch of the imagination in the Scriptures! In fact, the early Christians in the New Testament era would not have tolerated for one minute, such blatant violations of clear Scriptural teachings. But then again, since when does the Church need Scripture to support ANYTHING they teach?

The following article reveals the absolute absurdity of such half-witted reasoning’s, and exposes the length’s to which professing Christians will go in following their man-made, long-established traditions.
http://www.wickedshepherds.com/StartingAChurch.html

Without controversy, the most controversial subject in the Bible is “the church.” This is what most of the fussing is about both between “us” and the denominationalists, and between us and us. In one way or another everybody argues over the Church; not Christ, but the Church. But the longer I linger around Church-anity the more I come to realize that much of this controversy is based on incorrect or unclear concepts.

As I perceive the situation, there are two basic “Church” concepts loose in the land. First, is the popular concept, the one traditionally accepted by the majority of people. It is the notion that “the Church” of the Bible is a religious institution, albeit a divine one. Whether you talk to Catholics, Methodists, Mormons, Baptists, or “Christians only” in the Christian Church, this is their mental picture of “the Church.” When they use the word “Church” they are referring to the religious organization with which they are affiliated. Naturally they believe their Church is holy, a divine institution set up or established by Almighty God Himself, therefore one to which all Christians should belong.

Then there is a not-so popular concept of the church that is revealed in the New Testament and slowly being recognized by more and more thoughtful readers. According to this view, the “church” is a New Testament term describing people, particularly God’s people. By definition “ecclesia” (the Greek word found where the English word Church appears in most versions) denotes a “called out” group of people.

These two views are diverse. On one side, the “Church” is always thought of as if it were an entity separate and apart from the Christians who belong to it, preach it, promote it, support it, love it, etc. On the other hand, the “church” is simply thought of as people related to one another in Christ. The church is the body of Christ which we (if we are Christians) ARE! (1 Cor. 12:27).

My purpose here is not to explore all the differences between these two concepts. This would require a book I do not have time to write. All I want to do is make us aware that the traditional concept has some frightful holes in it. In an effort to make this clear, I want to ask you to do a little “supposing” with me. Briefly, I want us to suppose that we are about to “start a Church.” For the purposes at hand, “starting a Church” is a good place to start doing some real thinking on this subject.

When we speak of “starting a Church” what do we mean, ordinarily?

We do not mean what a young couple means when they speak of “starting a family.” We understand that a family is started when little babies are born. But a Church is “started” when newborn babes in Christ are born. No, no! Starting a Church in a community and starting the family of God are two entirely different processes. For, according to popular understanding and usage, a large number of God’s children can live in a place, yet “the Church” not be there at all! In fact, it is God’s born again children who supposedly are obligated to get together and start the Church!

So (and we all understand the terminology perfectly well) when we today speak of “starting a Church,” what we mean is that the Christians who live in an area should get together and form a religious organization that bears the official title of “Church.” Keep in mind that the “Church” that these Christians will “form” is not the church they already are, but is one that they will somehow create. This “Church” is perceived to be an institution that has to be “set up” before it can exist; an organization that must be organized before it can operate.

It is not a matter of disciples living together in a community, or even assembling together in the name of the Lord, for that matter. In our day, it takes MORE than this to make a bona fida “Church.” In order for a Church “as such” to exist, it is simply imperative – someone has to “start it.”

Right here is the first surprise. Believe it or not, the New Testament does not anywhere, in any way, discuss the procedure or practice of “starting a Church.” This seems a little odd, since we talk about it all the time. If there is not a “Church” in a certain city we say, “….someone should go there and start one!” If a lot of Christians live on the north side of town we say, “…that would be a good place to start a Church.”

If a new church shows up in town we are immediately curious to find out “who started it.” While such talk is familiar to us, it is foreign to the Scriptures. The nearest thing in the New Testament I can find to this kind of terminology is in Acts 16:5 where it says, “So were the churches established in the Faith, and increased in number daily.”

Notice however, that this passage does not speak of “establishing churches” It speaks only of establishing (strengthening) them in the faith. Can you think off-hand (or on-hand either) of ANY instruction in the New Testament on the proper program for starting a Church? Can you think of any historical instance where Christians went through the process of “starting” one? Before you answer, remember, preaching the gospel in a community and baptizing those who believe is NOT the same thing as “starting a Church” there. A Church, according to the popular concept, is something that those who have heard and obeyed the gospel will need to “start” later on, as soon as they can. And this involves more than just meeting together, or assembling the first time. As we shall see, again according to traditional teaching, the Christians in a community can assemble with one another for an extended period of time without “starting a Church.” Now if none of the problems are showing up in your mind yet, then maybe it is time for us to start supposing.

Let us suppose that I, my wife, and my son John; you, your wife and your son John, along with two other couples have just been transferred to a strange town where the gospel has never been preached. We are all baptized believers, brothers and sisters in the family of God, members of the body of Christ. We are all Christians. We have all arrived in town. But according to the popular concept of what a Church is, the “Church of the Lord” has not arrived yet. For as yet, no local “Church” has been “set up.” Therefore at this time, the community is thought still to be un-Churched. Alas, there is “no Church anywhere in town.”

So you and I and our Christian associates need to get together and discuss this situation. Suppose we do this. We get together and talk about how important the Church is, how every community needs one; how if we Christians don’t start one perhaps no one ever will. We discuss the feasibility of starting a Church, the probability of success, the possibility of failure, etc.

Now for some reason we do not discuss this situation in terms of “starting a family of God” in our new-found town; nor do we talk about the need to “start the body of Christ” there. We speak only in terms of “starting a Church.” Strangely enough, we somehow understand that God’s family and Christ’s body are already represented in our community. The town just does not have “the Lord’s Church” yet. And it will NEVER have “the Lord’s Church,” we think, unless someone like us starts one. So we feel the need to “get a Church started right away.”

Please bear in mind that in our discussion we are contemplating much more than the practice of assembling together with one another as fellow Christians. As a matter of fact, the little group is assembled at the very moment of the discussion, as we will be later on. But starting to assemble does not start a Church, whether or not to “start a Church” is the very item under consideration. We are already assembling, you see, but we may or may not “start a Church.”

In any event, after lengthy discussion we agree. Yes, that’s what we should do, “Let’s start a Church.” But right off, there are several questions that come up, in my mind at least. Let me put them in yours.

First, WHAT is this that we are about to start? From what I know, all the spiritual relationships mentioned in the New Testament already exist between us. We are already members of Christ. We are already members of the body of Christ. We are already members one of another. We are already holy brethren, part of the same brotherhood of believers. We are already meeting with one another in Jesus’ name. So what exactly are we getting ready to start? What is going to exist once we get through?

According to the contemporary way of looking at this matter, the thing that will exist once we complete our plans is a divine, “blood-bought INSTITUTION” that Jesus died for! Evidently, THIS is what we think we are about to produce. But wait just a minute. I thought Jesus built the Church. But Jesus is not building this one. We; you; and I and our Christian friends are going to bring this one into being. We are the ones, literally, who will cause it to exist as an independent entity. We are arranging for its formation and formalization. Yes, Jesus Christ is responsible for us and our faith, and in this sense we are the church that He built. But “the local institution” is something that WE are going to erect. Undoubtedly this is a different sort of Church. We are already members of the “church” that Jesus built, are we not? But we are not yet members of the Church we are about to build. It does not exist yet. Once it exists, after we “start it,” we will, I presume, be members of TWO Churches. This is all very interesting.

The second question is: WHY are we going to set up this institution later to be christened a “Church?” Did Jesus tell us to do this? Did He tell anyone to do such a thing? In the Great Commission, He told the apostles to go into all the world and “make disciples” of all nations. Is this enough? Or do we need to go into all the world and “form Churches” also? Remember, according to popular preaching, we can “make disciples” all day long in a community yet “the Church” (as such) will NEVER BE THERE until someone decides to start one.

Let me repeat the question. Why should you and I undertake to do this? The answer usually given is that you and I as Christians cannot please God outside a local religious organization. We cannot serve God without a local Church “through which” to function. Although, admittedly, we Christians are indeed “the church” in some sense, we are not the Church in the required way to do what God wants done.

But, let us suppose a little further. Suppose after talking it over, we Christians decide to postpone for a month or two the decision to “start a Church.” (We may get transferred again in a few weeks and would not want to start a Church and then go off and leave it unattended.) Are we now “Church-less?” Are we helpless, unable to serve the Lord? What is it the Lord would have us do in the community where we have moved that we, as disciples and because we are disciples, cannot do in the meantime, before we get around to forming an official Church?

Can we do good to all men? Yes. Can we let our little light shine? Yes. Can we teach our new neighbors the gospel? Yes. Can we baptize them? Yes. Can we continue to glorify God in word and deed? Yes. Can we gather together in my living room (or yours) in the name of the Lord? Yes. Can we have a prayer together? Yes. Can we sing hymns together? Yes. Can we put some money together to help a brother who has come down with a case of bad luck? Yes. We can, I suppose, do all these things without the benefit of the yet-to-be-formed Church.

On the Lord’s Day can we remember the Lord’s death by eating bread and drinking fruit of the vine? Uh, oh. Here we have hit a stump. “Wait a minute,” someone says, “we cannot commune apart from a Church.” This is “one of the main reasons” the Church needs to be established here; so we can eat the Lord’s Supper. Think about this seriously. Did the first Christians on Pentecost, somewhere between Acts 2:41 and 2:42, have to stop and start a local Church before they could “continue in the apostle’s doctrine” by breaking bread? Is this what we really believe? Are we actually prepared to say that Christians who find themselves outside the precincts of a religious institution cannot remember the Lord’s death on the Lord’s Day? What about those Christians who, like Paul much of his life, spend their life on the run? Do they take “the Church” with them wherever they go? Do they quickly form a new one at each stop? Or do they forget about communion altogether?

Also, consider this. Jesus gave his disciples two great “ordinances”: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Why is it that we Christians, before we “start a Church” and therefore in the absence of one, can practice baptism to our heart’s content, but without the presence of a “local Church,” we cannot practice communion, not even once? Why is one “ordinance” different from the other? Does “the local Church” have custody of communion but not baptism? All this is very strange to me. So I ask again, why are we required to “start a Church” in the first place? What is it (make a list) that we as fellow disciples of Christ cannot do in the absence of one?

But all the above questions are easy compared to the last one. Suppose that after a month or two we have another meeting and decide to go through with the proposal to start a Church. Now the question is: HOW do we go about doing this? Some may think this is easy. If we want to start a scriptural Church all we have to do is appoint some elders, ordain some deacons and hire a preacher. Presto! The organization is now organized; the “Church” is now formed; it now exists. But once more let us do some supposing.

Suppose there are none in our group “qualified” to be Elders; none willing to serve as Deacons; and no one wants to be the Minister? What then? We still want to start a Church. But how are we going to do it? Some kind of action must be taken that will make a “Church” among us where heretofore there has been no “Church.” Here is the intriguing part. Everybody who is anybody agrees that a legitimate institutional Church (one recognized by the Lord himself as being “HIS divine institution,” authorized to do “the work of the Church”) can indeed exist and operate as the approved “functional entity” WITHOUT having a staff of Elders and Deacons. This is known as being “scripturally unorganized” as opposed to being “scripturally organized” or “unscripturally organized.”

Let us look at this supposed situation very, very carefully. It is not an unheard of situation at all. Here we are a group of Christians intent on starting a Church, yet in the beginning we are not going to have ANY biblical officers; no Elders or Deacons. We are not going to have an Eldership or Deaconhood. Then HOW, pray tell, are we going to “form” this Church entity? We have decided to start the proposed Church, but how shall we proceed? This is the question.

Suppose we have one more meeting, say on Wednesday night, and decide that Sunday is the day. We will start “the Church” this coming Lord’s Day. This means two things: there will be no Church in town till Sunday, but there will be one after that. Fine. But the question lingers. Come Sunday, how, oh how are we going to pull off this feat? Sunday arrives and we all show up at the place where we have agreed to meet. There is no Church there, unless one has miraculously materialized since Wednesday night when we had our last planning session. So here we are, a group of disciples gathered together, but as yet no “Church” is present. We have a brief prayer together; but still there is no “Church” among us. We sing a few hymns together; but we don’t have a “Church” yet. We have a Bible lesson; still no “Church.” Now we are in trouble. We are getting perilously close to the Lord’s Supper time, and without the presence of “the Church” we dare not, as mere disciples, commune. Somehow we need to bring “the Church” into existence before the time to commune. Can it be done? How shall we accomplish this? Does some brother at some point in the proceedings merely arise and ANNOUNCE the “Church” into being? Does someone make the pronouncement, “NOW there is a divine institution in this good town!” So a moment ago there was just a group of Christians present. Now we have a scriptural Church! Hallelujah! A moment ago we, the Lord’s disciples, were assembled here, but without a “Church.” We are all still present, but now a “Church” is here also, one that we are henceforth obligated to sustain and support.

In the beginning God said “let there be light” and there was. Is this how it is done? Is the Church of the Lord (in an institutional sense) merely SPOKEN into existence? This must be how it is done. For in our supposed situation “the Church” certainly was not “organized” into existence, because it was not given ANY kind of organized structure. The Church we have started evidently exists only because someone has SAID it exists. Can just anybody announce one of these “divine institutions” into existence; or does it require special credentials and/or authorization? We need to know all this in case we really want to “start a Church” some day.

To come to the bottom of all this supposing, let me ask one more question. Once we have finished the task of starting this new Church (however we managed to accomplish it), what do we have? It looks to me like we have a very, very, very mysterious “Church.” We are told these days that the disciples in a community do not, in and of themselves, constitute the Lord’s church. The Church is something ELSE, besides them; something they form or create. What is this entity? Of what does it consist? In the case described above, where there are no Elders, Deacons, or Preachers, the Church seems to exist only in our minds. It is an organization, but without any officers or agents It is an institution, but without any institutional framework. It is a corporate body, but without any corporate structure. What we have is a group of disciples who are meeting together, PLUS something else. Because we have “started a Church” everyone seems to think there is also hovering around the premises a divine (functional) entity, complete with a set of assigned duties or works that the aforementioned disciples could not in its absence perform. Again I ask, of what does this mythical “Church” consist? Apparently we have successfully completed our mission of “starting a Church.” But, what do we have that we did not have before we started it? Before we started our Church all we had was a group of Christians, brothers and sisters in the family of God. Now that we have established a “Church,” all we have is the same group of Christians. Of WHAT, then, does this mysterious “local Church” consist? It does not consist solely of the Christians. We had them before we started it. It does not consist of Church officers. We don’t have any, scriptural or otherwise. It does not consist of a church building. We do not have one of these yet. This Church does not appear to consist of anything you can lay your hand or mind on. Frankly, I am at a loss. I fear that “the Church” we have started may be a figment of our imagination.

To some readers perhaps all of these questions will seem too silly to ask. To me, they serve to raise some serious doubts about the traditional concept, the institutional Church. In fact, the whole Church system as it is presently preached and practiced generates confusion and controversy. This itself ought to raise our eyebrows if not our curiosity. Is it just possible, do you think, that we may have a few chinks in our “Church” concept? Frankly, I believe it is time for all Christians to look again at the ecclesia of the New Testament, and see it in a more scriptural and simple light. Hopefully this article will encourage efforts in this direction

Deceiving Signs and Wonders: Corissa’s Story

This testimony reminds me so much of the undeceiving period I went through. I did not want to give up the special revelations that I thought were from God. Years back I began to receive dreams and open visions. I did not know at the time that the anti-depressant the doctor gave me for menopause was the culprit. Then I started receiving “words” because I asked for them. When you open yourself up by any method a lying spirit will gladly accommodate you. Believe me…it created much joy at first and I often wept with happiness. I was soooo spiritually elite. The oppression came later. Had to give it ALL up to be free. It comes at a price. Read Acts 18-19. The people gathered and burned their magic books. I burned all my notes and revelations that I had channeled. There was nothing magic by the action itself of burning these papers, it was the repentance in my mind and life and turning totally away from the seduction.

Deceiving signs and wonders: Corissa’s Story

The following is a testimony of one of our listeners, Corissa, who was deeply steeped in the Signs and Wonders movement infecting many churches. She has given us permission to share her story, in hopes that others caught up in this beautiful deception will be willing to consider the spiritual danger that they are in, and be open to investigating this movement for themselves. This, what I am about to share with you is only a small part of that testimony. As you read, consider that everything I am telling you comes from a person who was on the inside, experienced everything, and saw great things. Before you dismiss me as a nay-sayer, you need to know that, despite, what you may think, I know exactly what it is that I am talking about. I experienced it, felt it, heard it, and saw it.

I’ve seen this gold dust. It always happened during “praise and worship.” I remember the first time I was being encouraged to pray for it. I was told to pray for it and receive it, and I opened my eyes to see my hands sparkling as if gold glitter was on them. There was no one walking around sprinkling this stuff on people. It was real! That is why so many are attributing it to God just because it really does happen. The problem is that it is 100% a sign and wonder, but it is not one of God. I experienced this in my quiet time at home, and anywhere I prayed. In fact, I first witnessed this when a girl at my school invited me to youth group. She was holding out her hand, and you could see it just shimmering. I asked her what it was and she said, “You get this when you have Jesus.” Mind you, I was not saved at the time, but the Lord was already drawing me, and apparently Satan was hot on my heels, too.

I can remember seeing an aurora all around me everything time it happened to me. It almost always followed praying a mantra type of prayer. I’ve never seen the kind of gold that you can cash in, but I did experience seeing big chunks of it on my hand. Everyone would walk around in the congregation showing everyone their hands. Everyone had it! It wasn’t until God showed me the truth behind this phenomenon that I began to realize that I was actually in a trance, hence the aurora.

I first witnessed the falsehood of this “sign and wonder” at a youth meeting one night back in 2006/2007. I was not a youth at this time, but was encouraged to come sit in with the youth to discuss topics that were going to be covered. Anyway, so we were on the topic of gold dust. My husband’s curiosity on the subject had peaked and I began to share some of my experiences (which are many), and so the youth pastor’s wife shared hers. Interestingly enough, she held out her hand and told him to look at all the gold dust that covered it. To my surprise, I saw nothing! I told her this, and she insisted that it was there all over. (Now, I know she would not lie about this as I witnessed it being on her hand in the past.) This baffled me for months as to why I could not see it! In fact, I never saw it again. What I didn’t realize is that God was already leading me away from it as I began doubting so many of my experiences and began questioning the sources. I was no longer practicing contemplative type of prayer nor was entering into a presence. Notice that I said presence, not HIS presence. Gold dust is of the devil.

I used to follow the likes of Todd Bentley, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Paul and Jan Crouch, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Marlyn Hickey, Jesse Duplantis, TD Jakes, Crystal Cathedral, Paula White, and so on. How did God get me to see the cold-hard truth? First, He showed me that Joel Osteen was twisting Scripture. That was a hard pill to swallow, but even though, it was bitter tasting in my mouth, I digested it with humility. I then began to question teachers for the first time in all the years that I was saved. Pride was being chiseled away and I was actually becoming teachable!

I found a Christian forum, which God used to show me the truth about the signs and wonders movement also known as the hyper-charismatic movement. I fought it tooth and nail; debated with the Moderators of the forum and was really defensive in the apostasy sub-forum. During this time, my church was holding services which were being influenced by Todd Bentley’s Lakeland Revival. I knew something wasn’t right, but couldn’t put my finger on it. I believe the forum debates had planted seeds in my stubborn heart and I was finally given just enough discernment to detect something very off.

I remember one day, my husband was watching GodTV and Todd Bentley was running his marathon. If I remember correctly, that was all that was on for 24 hours a day. I may be wrong. Anyway, I felt a really familiar and unsettling presence filling the room. I immediately went to the computer room. What was that, and why did I feel the need to leave the room in a hurry? If it was of God, then the presence would not have been so oppressive.

I decided that I would actually research about Todd Bentley. I went back to the Christian forum and dug up the thread where they were discussing the revival. I watched the videos exposing the movement and became convinced that this man was either a con-artist, or he was an escapee from the mental institution. I mean, his idea of healing was to punch, kick and body slam the people he laid hands on. On top of that, he liked to say the word “Bam!” when laying his hands on people as if he had some type of anointing from a fight-happy spirit. Crazy!

One video led to another, and finally, a video exposing the Kundalini practice in Todd Bentley’s “revival.” It was at least 7 to 12 videos long. I sat there for hours with my mouth gaping, wondering what to make of it because the very things that were being exposed were, coincidentally, were what I experienced, accepted, and participated in.

I’ll admit, I didn’t want to believe it at first. I prayed to God. I kicked and screamed and cried, “do I have to give up my precious experiences?” I pleaded with God. I didn’t want to let go, but the truth was cracking the foundation upon which this lie stood on. It took weeks for this all to sink in. I read the Bible more, I sought out teachings, and inside felt like a part of me was dying with each blow of truth. It was like someone picked up a rock and threw it at the mirror which shattered the reflection that I had been staring at. It was all just an illusion.

I was not highly favored, as I had been told. I did not have supernatural abilities. My dreams, as spiritual as they were, are subjective. I was spiritually stunted. I was an idolater who got wooed away from the truth through the lips of those who profess to preach “new revelations.” I got saved in a church built on lies and I was spiritually starved. I had to go back to the milk of the Word. God used this time of despair to show me the truth. I was ripe to receive it and was ready to surrender my experiences for the truth. God opened door after door once I gave up those experiences. They were like carved images that I worshiped. They were my chronicles of truth built on sand!

The Church-Dare to Defy Her!

Dare to defy who? The church? Who me? Are you kidding?? They will call me a back slidden sinner trying to avoid my responsibility to assemble together and pay my tithes, etc. OK, that was years ago, and yes I did and yes they did too.

I was pretty well raked over the coals for “daring to defy her” and leave the church once and for all. It was a very traumatic episode in my life because it was kind of like a slave running away from the slave master that had controlled their lives. Once outside, on the road to freedom, with the LORD leading the way, I felt the liberty of being truly free to serve Him the way He wanted me to, and not under the authoritarian, patriarchal, controlling Nicolaitan religious system! Praise the Living God!

I love this prophecy by Steven Crowder that the LORD gave him many years ago, “Dare to Defy Her”. The LORD spells it out very clearly. To be sure, He has been calling His people for almost 2,000 yrs to come out of the Pharisaic religious system that bears no resemblance to the early church Jesus set up in the Book of Acts. A Holy obedient people. Today’s Christian looks nothing like those in the primitive church. Today you see a bunch of spoiled Laodicean, “rich, and increased with goods and have need of nothing” Starbucks, Big Box type Christians that run from the refining fire of God and the flesh crucifying Cross, just as the Hebrew children ran from the mountain where the Holy Purifying God Manifested His Presence.

Dare To Defy Her (Steven Crowder)

“Come Out Of Her, My People!”

I moved to southeastern Washington and lived near the Snake River for six years. During that time, I sat by banks of the river and recorded what the Lord showed me. After the sixth year, I was blessed with a heavenly visitation, followed by a very difficult series of events that led to the writing of this prophecy. The hand of the Lord was very much upon me at this time, and it was during this period of strong anointing that I spent the next eighty days experiencing what you’re about to read, followed by writing down what I’d been shown. It is my great hope that this message will be a blessing to those who still have an open ear to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to His people

Your Brother—Steven Crowder
On the eleventh day of the eleventh month in the year 2001, the Lord sent me to a destination in Washington state, twenty-two hundred miles distance, and He said, “There is an eight by forty home awaiting you at the end of this journey. Reside there, near the Snake River, close to Hell’s Gate, on the way to Hell’s Canyon, and wait patiently for Me at this place until I show you what you’ve been sent there to see.”
And so I dwelt there for many days, and I was thrust into the Refiner’s fire until I cried out with all that was within me for deliverance, and through Him I was able to overcome these things, not by my strength, but through His Spirit that strengthened me. And the wife of my youth was there with me to help me through this difficult trial. And the Lord said, “I have delivered you and strengthened you to overcome these generational curses, and I have caused you to be sick at even the thought of these things. From this day forth, remember that I have a work for you, so be careful not to defile yourself in any way.” And I was grateful for this, and greatly humbled. And I heard a song being played over and over again, and the word were: “I’m here waiting in the wings.” And then the Lord said, “I am also bringing your brothers and sisters through My refining fires at this time, so that they can become overcomers, and this is the reason that they’ve been made to endure these difficult times, because My true vessels are vessels of honor, says the Lord. These are vessels formed by My hand and passed through the fires of My choosing. Those who endure My fires shall be made into vessels capable of holding the new wine, and all others shall not be fit to hold that precious anointing that I shall pour out liberally and without measure. Behold, it shall be a new thing, says the Lord! And all who see shall be amazed, and all who call themselves by My name in that day; yet who have not been purified, they shall seethe inwardly, although their masks shall speak otherwise.”
In the early morning hours of my forty-eighth birthday, I was taken into the heavenly realms, and it was so overwhelming that my heart was barely able to contain the joy! Within the weeks that followed, a series of events occurred that baffled me, and at times they overwhelmed me. This gave way to anger and then to overwhelming grief, and afterward, the veil was removed and my eyes were opened to what was occurring in the spirit realm concerning these matters. And then the Lord spoke to me and said, “It was eleven years ago when My Spirit fell upon you, and with trembling hands you recorded the message entitled, ‘Woe be unto you all you enemies of the cross!’ Now, behold, and write down what I will show you, for this is what becomes of and what will become of these enemies of the cross, these conquerors who call themselves by My name, yet who have continually practiced non-payment.”
And I said, “Lord, what do you mean when you say ‘non-payment’?”
And the Lord said, “Non-payment! Behold what will become of these conquerors. Show them what I spoke through your pen eleven years ago, and then show them what will become of them if they do not repent and change, if they do not separate themselves, if they do not come up higher into that place that has no leaven.”
And I said, “Yes, Lord.”
This is the word of the Lord given eleven years ago. February 1997
“Woe be unto you all you enemies of the cross! To all ye who say, ‘We do not want this man to rule over us,’ woe be unto you! Woe be to you who merely take My name to cover your sins, yet who refuse My cross, My bread, My robes of righteousness—yes, even Me, says the Lord! Woe be unto you who embrace covetousness and refuse correction—who turn My house into a social order and not a house of worship.”
“Woe be unto you who have drawn My watchmen near to merely tickle your ears! When the strong messages come, instead of contrition, you embrace murder to protect your idolatrous hearts! And how you murder My servants—though they come to you in love and in a spirit of hope. Instead of repentance, you have opted for murder you sons of Cain! My wrath is even now being kindled against you—you who take My name and bring reproach upon yourselves in sight of all and for all to see.”
“And behold, here is your judgment, even now [in 1997]—because you have chosen to make My house a social order and not a house of worship and prayer, and because you have chosen to shout and not bow down before Me—behold, your prophets shall hear a mixed word, for none draws close enough to hear with clarity My still, small voice amid the din and the uproar of your congregations. It is true that the gifts are without repentance, but a leavened, mixed word does not bring the life that you think it does; it only leads to lukewarmness—and that I shall not tolerate. A contrite heart and a broken spirit I shall not despise, but shouting, lukewarmness and pride I shall reject, says the Lord !”
“Behold, the day is coming when you shall look, and behold, the righteous man shall not be found among you, and only partial words mixed with vain imaginings from your lukewarm prophets shall be heard—words that do not bring life.”
“Woe be unto you who are at ease in Zion! Woe be to those who say, ‘Rapture! Rapture!’ and refuse to pay the price of bearing their cross—you who refuse to lift a finger, yet lay heavy loads for others to bear. The spirit of the Pharisee is upon you, and you likewise will perish if you do not repent! Woe to you who have assumed charge of My household, yet who beat My messengers who come to you for your correction. Do you not know that I will come upon you in an hour that you are not aware of, and I will cut you to pieces and assign you a place with the unbelievers as your reward? ‘Peace and safety,’ you shout, and in so doing, you deceive yourselves from any preparation!”
“Woe be unto you who seek the deeper things, and embrace Jezebel and not Me, says the Lord! My paths will lead you to the cross. The true treasures of the Living Word lie through and beyond the Jordan, that place of death to self. Jezebel will lead you to circumvent the cross and not go through it! Have I not said that I am the door to the sheepfold, and all who enter in must enter in through Me? (John 10:9) In fact, there is no other way that you can partake of the true heavenly treasures but through Me and through the cross of death; wherein you will indeed find life. Pray that you will understand this! But woe be unto you who have twisted the cross and made it a dainty thing, for it is not a dainty thing, but it is an instrument of death! In the very spirit of Rome, you have carelessly romanticized the cross and taken away its use!

Woe be unto you!”

“O’ My people, it is not My desire that any man should perish, and therefore I have made provisions for you, but you must accept the paths that I have chosen for you to walk upon! My paths lead to life, but that life only comes through death. When you let the cross do its work in your life, then you shall then know the power and the life that is hidden from the proud. Won’t you hear My voice? Draw near to Me and I shall draw near to you. Look therefore to Me, and not to any man. Draw near to Me and hear My still, small voice. Behold, the day is coming when the proud shall be swept away, therefore humble yourself before Me, and in My time I will exalt you, says the Lord.”
The Lord further counseled me and said that the distorted cross that man has created [as a replacement for the true cross] that this is an evil thing in His eyes, and that to twist the cross and to take away its intended use is to deny its power, and that this is one: an abomination and two: a judgment to anyone who refuses to repent of this.
The Path That I Was Put Upon

In the year 2002 I was given a job in a kitchen, where I worked preparing food and washing dishes. After five years, I was promoted to the management position, and the owner praised me and told me that I was doing a good job. The owner of this business was my boss, and I answered directly to her. She had a daughter from a previous marriage named Crystal, and she stated that she had divorced her first husband because she said that she had “never loved him and that she got tired of serving him.” After she divorced her first husband, she lived a carefree party life, acting more like a wild teenager than a responsible parent. Eventually she got pregnant, and then she remarried, this time to a man that was almost young enough to be her son, and through this marriage she had two sons, whom she named “Clay” and “Dusty”

Her daughter from the previous marriage also worked in the place where I was employed, and when she first started working there she was kind and polite. However, this all changed as soon as her mother allowed her to have any authority, and after this power was given to her, she became full of venom and hatred. She walked around in a very haughty manner, abusing all of the employees, myself included. I tensed up every time I saw her, because she really enjoyed hurting people, and she did that as often as she could. She was entitledto do this because her mother was the owner, and she allowed her family members to do things that anyone else would be terminated for doing. When my eyes were opened to see what was happening in the spirit realm, I saw a demon inside of this daughter that manifested itself through a quick smirk, a smile that took over her face directly after she would purposely injure someone.
One morning I was ordering supplies for the restaurant, and the daughter told me to order a particular item. I told her that I couldn’t do that, because her mother had told me not to order this expensive item any more, due to a smaller budget. That’s when the demon inside her manifested, and she attacked me. She began ranting and screaming at me, and I was thankful for the peace that the Lord gave me to endure this without defending myself. She told me that “this was what my problem is, that I always have to be so dramatic about everything!” Then she screamed at me, saying “Just do what I said “Just do it! Just do it!” And then she sarcastically shouted, “Thank you!” before stomping off in her indignation.
Although I was shocked at what had taken place, I stood my ground and I didn’t bow to her pressure, for I’d been told what to omit from the purchasing order by her mother, who was the one in authority over me. [Note: this part about operating under the authority placed over you is very important] In the end, the mother caved in to her daughter’s controlling ways and she let her get what she wanted, letting her over-rule her authority, rather than standing her ground with her. For several weeks after this incident happened, this daughter would spit venom in my face at every opportunity, and she was so controlling and manipulating that despite my best efforts, her mother would always side with her in order to keep from being attacked by her, the daughter that she “supposedly” had authority over. In the end, the mother told me that I could only work on the weekends, because her daughter and I could not be in the same building at the same time. The daughter’s self-righteous, controlling ways, complete with mercilessly punishing anyone who dared to defy her [self-imposed] authority ended up ruling, trumping even her mother’s authority! I could not afford to only work on the weekends, and it was then that the Lord blessed me with another job that didn’t require any effort to seek out. When I put in my notice, I told the mother that I’d given them five and a half years of faithful service, and that I’d done nothing wrong to deserve the treatment that I’d been made to endure. There was no bitterness or hatred in my heart toward her, and I told her that when she gives in to her daughter’s controlling ways that everyone ends up suffering. And, with that being said, I put in my two weeks notice.
I returned to my home after putting in my notice, and that’s when the Holy Spirit opened my eyes and explained to me what had just occurred, and He assured me that He had placed me there for the purpose of seeing and experiencing this particular highly symbolic sequence of events. He reminded me that He’d previously sent me thousands of miles to dwell in places that I’d never been before, and to take heart and be encouraged, because, just as I’d been positioned in these previous places in order to eventually prophesy, I had also been placed in this kitchen for the same purpose. So, with this in mind, to those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying, here is the interpretation.
The First Level of Interpretation is Given

There is more than one layer of depth to this interpretation, and it’s best to start with the simplest one.
The Lord said to me, “What is the daughter’s name?”

And I replied, “Her name is ‘Crystal.’”

And the Lord said to me, “This is because what has happened through her shall be made crystal clear, so as to instruct My people, to warn them and to encourage them. Also, what has been shown here is purposed to call those who still have an ear to hear My voice to ‘Come out of her My people, be ye separate, I will be your God and you shall be My people.’”
And as I pondered this, the Lord opened up my understanding.
He said, “The woman who had authority over you, she is a picture of the modern-day [religious] church. She was married to someone that she neither loved nor wanted to serve, although when she espoused herself to this man, she called herself one of My people, and she promised to remain faithful to him before Me. The daughter that she brought forth from this loveless and unfaithful union is truly made in her image, and she protects her at all costs, even when she knows that it’s wrong to do so. This daughter is so loved and cherished by her, because; in her eyes, she sees her as an extension of herself—an expression of what she has produced and how she has “evolved.” The mother is a picture of the carnal [fleshly, unchanged] church who will always justify the actions of her daughters, because she herself has been taken over and is being controlled by a conquering spirit—that spirit that rides upon the white horse, going forth “conquering and to conquer.” (Rev.6:2) Her firstborn is named Crystal, and she too is a conqueror; in fact a much stronger and more determined conqueror, foul within her heart, filled with spirits that I allowed you to see, and she takes great pleasure in her fleshly beauty and in her ability to punish anyone who would dare to defy her self-imposed authority, and, although they are “innocent in My eyes, they are guilty in her eyes.” The mother did not deal with or become accountable for her own life, and hence she is powerless to deal with or hold accountable her firstborn’s life, and now that this daughter Crystal has grown up, the mother is being controlled and conquered by her to the point that she will defend her at all costs, having lost the ability to discern good from evil. By living vicariously through her daughter, she has been forced by the spirits of darkness to call good evil and evil good, lest she too gets mercilessly attacked by this rebellious daughter. By living this way through her daughter, the mother is able to justify her flesh, and by justifying her flesh, this is proof that she is under the influence of a conquering spirit, for to admit defeat and be changed by the hand of the Lord would be to lose control, and conquerors always have to be in control.”
“The Lord’s overcomers overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and because they did not love their life even to death. (Rev. 12:11) They do not control things around them or attempt to conquer the world through knowledge, using their heads “like goats” in order to get what they want. Remember back to the garden, when Eve was beguiled and chose the tree of knowledge over the tree of life. Like sheep, the Lord’s true servants merely follow their Shepherd wherever He leads them. It’s that simple, and yet man has made it so complicated! The Lord’s true servants walk upon the paths of His choosing, and by doing “this,” they’re given a testimony, because they willingly laid down their lives in order to follow Him. They’ve laid aside their own plans, willingly walking away from them, so that they can be led by the Spirit of God, hence, ‘following Him wherever He goes.’”
The Lord instructed me further, saying, “The woman who had authority over you had this authority through the proper means, because she owned the business that employed you. Her daughter’s “authority” was self-imposed, and she demands that everyone bow to her wishes, because she operates out of a very strong ‘conquering’ spirit that has to control everyone and everything around her. You were under the authority of someone higher than her, and when you stood your ground and refused to let this daughter named Crystal control you, that was the trigger that set loose the demon, and hence you were attacked and then accused of the very thing that she was doing. When she said that you were being ‘dramatic,’ it was her way of accusing you and berating you in an effort to control you, just as this same tactic works with her mother, who has lost all control over her. This same technique is also used on everyone else that she comes into contact with. She had; and still has, no authority over you, and when you wouldn’t bow to her demands, she did the only thing that she was capable of doing, which was to stomp off like the spoiled child that she is, and then she plotted against you to make sure that you paid for your transgression. That is the reason why she was so venomous and hateful toward you after you dared to defy her.”
“Crystal” is her mother’s firstborn, the product of a loveless marriage, and the children from her second marriage are named “Clay” and “Dusty.”

“To admit defeat and be changed by the hand of the Lord means to lose control, and conquerors ALWAYS have to be in control!

Thus saith the Lord”.

The Next Level of Interpretation

The Lord’s true overcomers do so by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and because they did not love their lives even to death. By laying down their lives and all the ambitions that come with them; which simply means their own plans, the Lord is able to set them upon the paths of His choosing. He is the Great Shepherd, and it is always His desire to bring His sheep (meaning His children) to maturity. It is always His plan to bring His children past the flesh life and into spiritual maturity so that He can fill them with His blessings—blessings that the world (worldly-minded) cannot receive or even understand! And, just as the Great Shepherd laid down His life in order to serve, the Lord desires to fill His servants with gifts so that they too can lay down their lives and serve in a greater capacity. However, these servants; these vessels, must be passed through His refining fires and they must endure these trials before He can pour out a greater portion of His Spirit into them. This is exactly like a clay vessel that is formed by the potter’s hands and then it has to endure multiple firings in a very hot oven before it is a finished product, capable of holding the oil that will be poured into it. To pour oil into an unfinished vessel would be foolish! Hence, the oil of the Holy Spirit is only poured into those vessels that are capable of holding it, and He is the one doing the pouring! There are no “Holy Ghost Bartenders,” as some have claimed to be. If people want to argue about this, then argue about it with the Lord. I’ve said what the Lord gave me to say concerning this subject, and the Lord has sternly warned me to not argue with people about it or to even discuss it. Again, the Lord says this—“If you want to argue about this matter, then argue with the Lord and not with a man!” Although the Lord has and does use people to pass on His blessings through the laying on of hands, this is only done by the leading of the Holy Spirit. So much of what you see concerning this subject which is occurring in the Inner Court Holy Place of Religion is a show at best, and a sham at worst. Remember, there is a difference between the Lord’s true followers and those who merely operate under the guise of religion. The religious church and the true church are not the same thing!

The Lord desires for all of His servants to take on His nature, which is the nature to serve. The Lord desires for all of His servants to grow and mature so that they can produce fruit. Mature trees produce fruit, and immature trees do not. The Spirit of the Lord comes looking for fruit in His servants, and this fruit only comes from mature trees. And what is this fruit? It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5)
The Lord tells us that to the person who has, more will be given, and as you walk faithfully in what you’ve been given, more will be given to you, and it’s then that you’ll begin walking in abundance, and also in authority—not a (self-imposed) authority of yourself, but because you’re following the Lamb, walking in the Spirit, and under the orders and direction of the Holy Spirit, you will be walking in His authority when He tells you to do something. And, when you’re walking under the authority of the Lord, you will not bend to the authority of another. God’s Word says “My sheep hear My voice, and to the voice of another they won’t hearken unto.” (John 10:4,5) Those earthen vessels that mature and endure the fires of His choosing will be filled with that which the Lord desires to put into them, and as they go forward doing His work, they’ll know His voice of authority, and to the voice of another they will not hearken unto. Thus saith the Lord!
Now, please come with me for a moment, as we need to return to the kitchen, seeing that this is the illustration that the Lord used.
The young woman named Crystal—she had no authority over me, and when she gave me an order that I was instructed not to do (this ordering “not to do” being given by the person in authority over me, this person who was in a position of greater authority than the daughter named Crystal), I dared to defy her (Crystal). When I “dared to defy her,” it wasn’t because I was being rebellious or argumentative, it was because I was obeying and honoring the authority that had been placed over me. The daughter named Crystal is a conqueror, and conquerors always have to be in control. I was guilty in Crystal’s eyes but not in the eyes of the Lord. I “dared to defy her,” just as Luther dared to defy her (the “religious” church), when he nailed his 95 thesis on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, being God’s mouthpiece to “come out of her My people.” Luther “dared to defy her,” and his protest caused him to become the very first protestant. Sadly, the modern-day church has lost her protest, because they refuse to defy her! “Why is this so??? I inquired of the Lord.
I asked the Lord, “Why do God’s people refuse to defy her [the religious church] and why have they lost their protest”
I also asked the Lord, “What is a ‘protestant’ that lacks protest?”
And the Lord answered me, saying, “A protestant without protest—this person is merely a talker and not a walker—a protestant in name only, with nothing to show for it. These are trees without fruit. With many, it’s because they’ve lost the ability to discern good from evil.”
“And Lord, what does that mean?” I asked.
“Behold, she sits as a queen, and she says in her deceived heart, ‘I am not a widow,’ meaning that she claims to have [Me] as a husband, and, she also says, ‘I will never see mourning,’” He answered.
“This is the modern-day church that operates out of a counterfeit spirit—the spirit of the Great Theatre. And, as I spoke through My servant Ezekiel, My sons of Zadok will teach the people to discern the difference between good and evil. (Ezekiel 44) This goes much deeper than teaching My people to obey ‘thou shalt not’ laws—the good and evil here means that which is holy and true and that which is profane and not true—that which is not true—meaning counterfeit, artificial, false, in place of, antichrist! The Lord will bless those who overcome with the fullness of His Spirit, and there will be people in the religious sector that will attempt to walk in this, but it will be a counterfeit anointing, a mock Holy Spirit, a mere fabrication that will be able to fool the many, but not the few that are truly walking in My Spirit, says the Lord! And this counterfeit is an evil thing! In and through the spirit of the Great Theatre, they will play the role, they will pretend and act out, making this ploy appear genuine, but the only thing genuine about it will be that it will be genuinely false. And My sons of Zadok will be there to show the people how to discern the difference between good and evil, between that which is genuine and that which is not. Behold, this is the word of the Lord!”

The Difference Between the Genuine and the Imitation January 11, 2008
And as I laid upon my bed this night, I dreamed intensely, and the hand of the Lord was upon me in a powerful way, and He ministered to me even as I slept, saying, “Come out of her, My people that you may not partake of her plagues!”
And again, I heard Him say, “Come out of her, My people, and be ye separate. I will be your God and you will be My people!”

And a third time I heard the Lord pleading with His people,

“Come out of her, My people, that you not partake of her plagues!”
And I said, “Lord, what plagues are you talking about?”
And the Lord said, “Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his or her flesh, shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life.

And, being greatly intrigued, I inquired, “Lord, how do they mock you?”
And He replied, “Mock, imitation, counterfeit. They mock Me in their assemblies! They call another spirit My Spirit! Come out of her My people, that you not partake of her plagues, for I have given them what they truly wanted, for they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved!”

And I said, “Lord, how did this happen? How did this happen?”
And the Lord said, “They did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved, and for this reason I’ve sent upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false, mock, counterfeit, in order that they would all be judged who took pleasure in wickedness.”
And I said, “Lord, what is this deluding influence?”
And He answered me and said, “They refused to go up the mountain like Moses and Joshua, ‘lest we die,’ they said. They refused to carry their cross and let it do its work in their lives, and in doing so their flesh remained alive and I answered them according to their flesh and their fleshly desires. Behold, they have set up idols for themselves.”
And I said, “Lord, what are these idols?”
And He replied, “They mocked Me in the houses that they say they’ve built for Me, which; in most cases are nothing more than monuments built to honor themselves! And in these houses they mocked Me, saying, ‘This is the Spirit of the Lord! This is the Spirit of the Lord!’ when it is NOT My Spirit, but a counterfeit spirit according to the flesh! These perpetual children that refuse to grow up, they have produced the only fruit that immature trees produce, and by their fruits you shall know them! They refused My cross, and in its place they embraced a fleshly cross, so I have sent upon them a deluding influence so that they will call another spirit My Spirit! They embraced a fleshly cross, one that did not crucify their flesh and put it to death, and they refused to ascend the mountain with Moses and Joshua, ‘lest we die,’ they said. They wanted the self-life and the life of the spirit at the same time, and I answered them according to their desires. And, like tares, they will all be gathered together in order to be burned, so come out of her, My people, that you may not partake of her plagues, these tares that look like wheat, yet there is no fruit! Behold, this is what happens to those who become enemies of the cross!”
And in a terrified voice, I shouted, “Lord, this is a terrible thing!”
And the Lord said, “The great and terrible day of the Lord! A great day of blessing for those who have gone through the cross and walked according to My ways, and a terrible day for those who have become enemies of the cross, walking according to man’s substitute ways—the fleshly cross. Woe be unto them! To those who mock Me in their assemblies, woe be unto them! To those who have said in their hearts, ‘We do not want this man to rule over us,’ woe be unto you!”
“Now show them the vision of the cross,” the Lord said to me.

And I said, “Yes, Lord. This is the vision that You showed me in the eighth month of the eighty-eighth year.

New Age-The Enemy of Christ Exposed

Documentary: The NEW AGE, (the enemy of Christ exposed)

Ok, so I will admit that back in the day, I ignorantly and stupidly got sucked into New Age. A lot of us did, as it was considered “cool”, and we didn’t want to be associated with that stodgy old-time religion. Bad move. Long story short, after studying for 8 or 9 months trying to figure out how to get into this “godhood” thing, I realized I was going down a dead-end road 90 miles an hour. One thing led to another, I got saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and after that for years I was so happy, so “on fire for God”, so engrossed with Jesus, and studying the bible, I was not only NOT interested in New Age, but was not aware of the growing encroachment of New Age practices and teachings creeping into the church, the Body of Christ.

All of that has changed. No longer can I ignore New age and occult coming into the church, because it’s everywhere. Christians are now holding Yoga classes in the church gym, Reiki, Eastern mysticism and meditation, contemplative prayer, wicca, and you fill in the blanks. Every aspect of New Age as well as many other occult themes are being introduced into the church. And what’s worse, is that the mainstream organized church has ignorantly embraced these practices as if it were fine with God. Well, guess what? It isn’t and I believe the LORD is calling his people to call out these false doctrines and practices and kick the devil out of His church. I believe He expects us to do this, not wait around for God to do something about it, but to be accountable to keep the church clean of corruption, false doctrines and false workers.

Please take an hour to watch this documentary on the history and origin of New Age. And then join us in sounding the alarm and exposing it wherever you encounter it.

The Lie of the Serpent is the second part of the controversial Megiddo series, which next focuses on the highly influential New Age movement. But is the New Age really new? Or does it represent the ancient doctrine taught by the serpent to Eve in the Garden of Eden? The answer will startle and amaze you as you learn the influence of the serpent’s teaching through the spiritual explosion of occult activity in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Some of the greatest and most recognized people of the modern era (including Charles Darwin, Thomas Edison, Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton) have been influenced by the movement that has re-awakened mankind’s communication with the spirit realm, and re-shaped the Western view of God and His relationship to mankind. What are the implications of this “paradigm shift” that seeks to introduce a new global consciousness? Will this new consciousness really bring mankind into the dawning of a golden era? Or the awakening of another dark age?

Full of highly detailed research and exhaustive documentation, Megiddo II challenges even the most skeptical viewer to consider the consequence of the global awakening taking place before our very eyes.

Join speakers Dave Hunt, Caryl Matrisciana, Dr. Kent Hovind, Pastor Joe Schimmel, and Dr. Stan Monteith who expose the movement that seeks to unite mankind in a one-world religion through the United Nations.

Global adherents claim to await a “universal Christ” to lead the world. What happens to those who will not follow this world leader? And are there sinister warnings against those who refuse to be “initiated” into the New Age?

The Institutional Church System is an Unbiblical Abuser of Christ

Hitler Defends the Institutional Church, (satire)

Yes friends, this issue of being a real disciple of Jesus Christ, (not a spoon fed powerless bottle baby that hasn’t learned how to walk yet), is serious business, but nevertheless, now that we’ve been liberated from the mess, we don’t mind poking a little truthful jab at that old ogre, the apostate, institutional, organized harlot.

FROM THE PROPHETIC MINISTRIES OF STEPHEN W. MORRIS:

http://www.angelfire.com/in/HisName/
“As a humanly organized hierarchical authoritarian structure there are published and unstated rules which members of the institutional church system value as being above those found in the Bible.
There are certain religious words, symbols and ideas that are taught to those within such a system that have little, or no value to those who are strangers to that system.
There are also unstated rules which are learned by word of mouth and considered as part and parcel of that religious, social and political system.
When attempting to communicate or exchange dialogue with those who are strangers to the institutional church system those stated and unstated rules are verbalized in an attempt to convince strangers to the system of the value of the institutional church system.
When pressed for an explanation, or an interpretation of those stated and unstated values, the members only know to repeat what they have already said. The reason for that is that they, also, have no idea what the explanation or interpretation of what they just said really is.
Memorization of verses of scripture from the King James Version of the Bible are a top favorite. Just spout them out by rote and the Holy Spirit will convict them, right? Wrong. They will simply respond by surprise and an attempt to get away from what you are saying (dissociate) because it doesn’t make any sense to them. In their attempt to dissociate they unwillingly enter into an altered state of consciousness, which leaves them more vulnerable to the ideas being offered. In this eyes wide open altered state of consciousness their brain releases chemicals almost identical to opium, creating an addiction to whatever caused the altered state. While in this state they are 20 to 25 times more open to suggestion than while in a wide-awake, fully aware Beta state.
This is a favorite of many cults, a surprise confrontation (this works particularly well if the person appears bizarre which may be either their mode of dress or mannerisms) accompanied by a loud voice, slowly drifting back to a normal tone of voice as suggestions are made to buy or become a part of something.
The only way the institutional church system can reach strangers to their way of life [read: the unsaved] is to get them physically inside of their institutional church building and employ psychological and emotional tactics and peer pressure to condition them to alter their decision-making consciousness to also become part of their group.
An eyes wide open altered state of consciousness—accomplished primarily through a “worship service” employs voice, sound and lighting methods which robs them of their ability to correctly perceive, analyze and interpret the effects of what is happening to them. The same technique is used by the unbiblical practice of issuing an “altar call.”
Peer pressure is particularly powerful, and when they see the “faithful” (faithful to what?) all doing the same physical antics it has a stunning hypnotic effect.
Then we see elements of the battered bride syndrome, and the Stockholm syndrome. This can occur in as little as two days, so great efforts are made to get the new prospect to attend at least two such “services.” Success is almost guaranteed, unless the person(s) involved are very strong intellectually and emotionally. Stockholm syndrome refers to a group of symptoms among those who suffer physical, sexual and/or psychological abuse or any combination of these. It’s a known defense mechanism to avoid fear, terror, violence and physical and mental pain. It’s a survival strategy and a very common phenomenon. It’s also an expression of gratefulness to the abuser for providing an escape from threats of death or violence from the abuser or another source. There is an emotional bonding with the abuser, and they seek the abuser’s approval. The longer the period of association with the abuser the stronger the emotional bonding will be. Psychologically they must give up their previously held value systems and believe that their very survival will come about only when they totally surrender to the will of their abuser.
Note these are the tactics originally employed to get the “member” under the control of unbiblical self-appointed “leaders.”
All of this is utilized by members because of their biblical illiteracy and unbiblical lifestyle which includes, but is not limited to teachings that there is authority in custom and tradition, therefore the institutional church system has authority. This is badly flawed logic as the truth is that there is only authority in custom if the majority in society finds the custom to be good, i.e., beneficial, utilitarian, valuable and desirable. Then it may be assigned authority by the majority. Just because you’ve done things wrong for 1,700 years doesn’t make it right.
More unbiblical teachings also include teachings that God will curse you, the devil will kill you, steal from you and destroy you, that you are being disobedient to God and you are in rebellion against God if you don’t tithe, have a “covering,” assemble at their building at pre-set times, and obey everything alleged “leaders” think, say and do.
Because of the constant abuse and subsequent sense of loss in individuals in this abusive place, grieving is an ongoing traumatic experience, causing further problems, especially if trauma is already present in an individuals life because of post-traumatic stress disorder.
These extremely unhealthy mental and emotional problems are simply passed on to the unsuspecting who think they are being taught about “God” by those who label themselves as “experts” about God because that’s the impression they give to the strangers to the system.
Is it any wonder that today billions of people on this earth want nothing to do with what they perceive to be “Christianity?”
Why aren’t churches a good witness of Christ?
Because they make disciples of a biblically illegitimate, paganized, Romanized, pope-modeled, traditional, man-made organization which has violated the very will and purpose of God for His ecclesia. Instead of reflecting the teaching, preaching and healing values of Christ.
Simple, huh?
If only they could see the living Christ within those who name His name. If only they could see Christ in the 24-hour a day, seven-day a week lifestyle of those who, instead, teach and preach and practice criticism, condemnation and judgment at them.
If only they were incorporated into a Christ-like lifestyle of true disciples of Jesus Christ and taught and demonstrated the love of God, the abundance of life in Jesus Christ and the liberty of the Holy Spirit—then it would make a world of difference!
Wouldn’t it?

Wide Is The Gate: The New Spiritual Deception

We are being told that Christianity needs to “be reinvented”? That Christianity needs to be reformed.

We are seeing multitudes of new, strange movements springing up everywhere one turns.

Apostasy and ecumenism, which is in essence to put all religions into a blender so to speak and incorporate them into Christianity. We are seeing the so-called emergent church, the rebirth of ancient mysticism, contemplative prayer, which is nothing more than Eastern mysticism, i.e., meditation, New Age practices such as Yoga, which is East Indian Kundalini movement, the seeker friendly churches, “Reformed theology”, which is nothing more than Calvinism warmed over and made to appear more “relevant”. We have “mama Mary” the Catholic church calling for the ecumenical coming together of all religions, and taking her daughter, so-called, the Protestants to come back under her wing. Nothing new there, the RCC has always been more than willing to incorporate any belief system into and under the Catholic umbrella as long as it embraced the Pope and total authority of the church.

We have seen in the last two decades, any and every type of deception out there in the world attempting to claw it’s way into biblical Christianity and attach itself like a transplanted organ would and become part of the original. But friends, that’s not the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the scriptures, which are very explicit about what and what not is scriptural truth. The world doesn’t like this and calls it “absolutism” and it rankles them because they want to believe what they want to believe even if that means attempting to put a square block into a round hole. But that won’t be scriptural and God is not going to accept it. Jesus said WIDE IS THE GATE that leads to destruction, and as of this date in 2012, we have multitudes on that road. I heard Oprah say, but there MUST BE more roads to heaven! Who says so Oprah? Oprah doesn’t know this but she is merely a pebble in the vast scope of the eternal. And she doesn’t get to call the shots, and neither do you or I. It’s not our opinion that carries weight and that will decide the final outcome of things it’s Gods.

Think about this, if there is VERY GOD, the I AM, then by his very nature he is supernatural in being. Is it beyond one’s finite mind to consider that scripture indicates correctly there is also an adversary of evil named Satan? And that his one tool, is deception. Then our weapon must be the truth. The truth of the gospel and our faith as our power. Jesus said over and over again, “Be not deceived” or, “Let no man deceive you”, but allow me to suggest our worst enemy may be ourselves in that we have a mind with which to take in information, and a spirit to receive what we accept. Therefore, lets examine carefully what we do or do not accept as truth and why. Let’s go through the scriptures prayerfully as we study the Word of God, asking the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us to all truth.

Yes, I know you’ve probably heard these admonitions before, but please do not take them lightly because truly, the days are evil and gross darkness has swept across the land.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you this day,

Scarlett

Potters House and it’s Dancing Zombies

OK, so this is how we’re supposed to do church nowadays? I wonder what type of religious brainwashing and spoon feeding of apostate pablum it takes to induce young people to participate in such a disgrace in what is supposed to be the holy household of God? What level of depravity is this”preacher” willing to stoop to in order to pump up his congregants into a state of fleshly energy, and to satisfy his follower’s need to be entertained by the things of this world? In this case, dancing zombies?

Just when you think you’ve seen everything the apostate church is doing these days, now comes this.
As one commenter on this YouTube video said;

“If I wasn’t the Pastor of this church, I would become a member….we done brought Michael Jackson back”…..Yall better RUN FROM THIS CHURCH LIKE YOUR HAIR IS ON FIRE….because it just might be soon enough.

And I agree! Really, REALLY sickening! You’ve been warned…

Infatuation with Preachers-Teachers-and Ministries

Infatuation with preachers, teachers and ministries makes about as much sense as a man living with a woman who doesn’t love him just because he’s physically hooked on her, or a woman who sticks with a man who abuses her….and every bit as dangerous.

When Jesus talks about your enemies being in your own household, it can certainly be true they may be living under your own roof, but I believe he was primarily speaking of those wolves in sheep’s clothing set in the churches, or even coming through your television set.

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

36And a man’s enemies shall be they of his own household.

37He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me.

39He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.Matthew 10
