Are you aware of the origins of the confession both?
The confessional booth origins? The Catholic church has made a historical practice of dominating, controlling and micro managing every aspect of the spiritual life of their members they possibly can, usurping the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yeah, I hear that old saying all the time from Catholics, claiming the RCC is the “Only true church”, and of course it isn’t, nor was it the first church.
You may or may not know I am a former Catholic. I left the Catholic religion many years ago.
I didn’t know Tony. But glad you left. Many Catholics have, as well, but there are many who seem to be indoctrinated for life. We still need to pray for them to come out from bondage.

That’s called brainwashing, and it’s not just the Catholic church that uses that method of mind control. Thank God, there is a way out through the truth of Jesus if and only if, people seek after it.
