Try as we might, we all have them now and then, those days when we have so much on our agenda that it seems like we meet ourselves coming and going. And when you put into the mix an urgent situation about family, health or kids, the Martha syndrome seems to compound. Well, it was one of those days, and now after a flurry of “gettin er done” , it’s at the end of a long tiring, but fruitful day when the Amazing Lord Jesus brought everything together and made it work out as only He can do.
I just felt the need to listen to this song, and let the tensions flow out and the Peace flow in…Thank you Lord Jesus. I’m so glad you are in control.
7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
33“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
