Do we ignore false teaching for the sake of peace?
There is a train of thought by many today in the modern church where it’s said we should not judge for the sake of unity, more so, we should just love one another regardless of our different views and allow people to listen to whomever they want. It sounds good, it sounds reasonable, but the problem is, it’s a compromise which is not only dangerous, once it begins to be followed, it will produce spiritual death.
The word of God states in Ephesians 5:11 “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” What Paul the Apostle was saying is, when someone is preaching or teaching false doctrine that is contrary to the word, we have a moral duty to expose that teaching as heresy, not partake of it (accept it). Yet too…

Really excellent one, Scarlett! Helpful!
Saints of God WAKE UP! There is much, much, much amiss with the “church.” As a matter of fact, if you can receive it, the only CHURCH today are those who have seen the truth and have left the system, if you remain in HER you are under strong delusion and CANNOT see the Truth. To begin a journey into Truth see: https://revelationunveiled.wordpress.com/
One might say, “What does it matter, are we not all going to heaven anyway?” That IS true if you are saved, however God has a plan for his Church and it is ONLY “speaking the truth in love, (we) may GROW UP into him in all things, which is the head Christ” (Eph 4:15),
In order for it to cause GROWTH it must be TRUTH! The devil knows this and he has been hard at work for 2000 years spewing out tainted water (Rev 12:15) to keep the saints from the TRUTH.
“We know nothing of humility by nature, for we are all born proud.”
Unity without the gospel is a worthless unity; it is the very unity of hell.
Doctrine is useless if it is not accompanied by a holy life.
Christ is never fully valued, until sin is clearly seen.
There is no commentary that opens up the Bible so much as sickness and sorrow.
Sound doctrine and holy living are the marks of true prophets.
Nothing whatever, whether great or small, can happen to a believer, without God’s ordering and permission
Disbelieve hell, and you unscrew, unsettle, and unpin everything in Scripture
Never let us be guilty of sacrificing any portion of truth on the altar of peace
Holiness comes from Christ. It is the result of vital union with Him. It is the fruit of being a living branch of the true Vine
“Laughter, ridicule, opposition, persecution are often the only reward which Christ’s followers get from the world.”
Take away the cross of Christ, and the Bible is a dark book
You may be careless about your soul; (the Devil) is not.
I am one of those old-fashioned ministers who believe the whole Bible and everything that it contains
Nothing is written by chance in the Word of God. There is a special reason for the election of every single expression
Knowledge of the Bible never comes by intuition
The mere belief of the facts and doctrines of Christianity will never save our souls.
Let it be a settled principle in our religion that men’s salvation . . . is wholly of God
“Millions of people profess and call themselves Christians, whom the Apostle Paul would not have called Christians at all”
“There is a common worldly kind of Christianity which offends nobody, requires nothing, costs nothing, and is worth nothing
“Look to the cross, think of the cross, meditate on the cross, and then go and set your affections on the world if you can
“Is there any cross in your Christianity?”
We are all naturally self-righteous. It is the family disease of all the children of Adam

Amen Tony. Brilliant observation by an obvious disciple of Jesus our Lord.
“Disbelieve hell, and you unscrew, unsettle, and unpin everything in Scripture”
I just had a run in with one of these proponents………. unfortunately, that movement is growing but it will backfire on those who believe it.
That is quite a story Hope. It just goes to show that even a Christian who loves the Lord and is mature in the faith can let down their guard just a bit and get sucked into deception with very serious consequences. I’m glad you escaped, and with a great testimony.
Even Christians sometimes don’t realize just how serious this all is.
Be blessed,
Scarlett
I cannot shout the truth in this article loud enough! May I share my story?
