“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8)

The church is changing, not just in doctrines which reflect a more socially accepted or tolerant gospel message, but equally what is changing within the structure of the modern church is a new face of Christianity. Today’s so called “Christian” image is less dogma whose foundation was on a strict adherence to the word, but a more liberal appeal which relies more on making people feel more accepted in their sins and less convicted of their sins. This is the new modern Christianity which is sweeping much of the church today in America – progressive Christianity.

When Carrie Underwood began to promote herself as a Christian, she took upon that role to potentially hundreds of thousands of followers, and do…

Nothing has caused more debate, more confusion, more doctrines as it relates to the timing of the removal of the church in the last days than 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,”  Yet is this true? Is the church appointed to wrath? Or has certain men, clinging onto tradition purposely twisted the word to promote their own slanted view of scripture? Or more importantly, their view of the removal of the church which is called “The Rapture”?

It must be understood that scripture interprets scripture, not based on opinion, not based on traditional views of others who “believe” they had the truth above others, scripture is the final authority, and that scripture must not ever be contaminated by opinions of men, but by the word itself. So with that in mind, I would like to…

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

About four years ago I held a week revival in a small church in Arkansas where the power of God fell, people were healed, saved and delivered. But one particular event that occurred in that meeting seemed to mark my ministry as one where I would forever deal with demonic activity. A young man, plagued by a life of sin and bondage, came up for prayer to receive Christ, tears falling down his face as the tall young man, no more than 17 years old, greatly desired to be set free from this life of sin and perversion. I could tell right away that there was something about him, but I didn’t know quite what it was…

“Film-makers must decide what story to tell and how to tell it.” — Jack Valenti
Film can be a powerful medium when used in the right way, yet even in the worst way, film can do as much damage than good when someone has an intent to do harm. Films such as Schindlers List, TheHiding Place, The Passion, made an impact not only upon the viewer, but upon the culture as well. Yet it is this intent to undermine the gospel message that is clearly becoming the norm with many Hollywood producers as of late. With films such as Noah, Son of God, Heaven is Real, and now Exodus: Gods and Kings, it’s becoming all too clear that an unspoken agenda is occurring within the film establishment to not only paint God, as well as Christ, in another light, but to dismiss the accuracy…

On the Threshold of Heaven (4)

Real Christianity

What is the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit?

         What is the proof?

Some people believe that being Spirit-filled is an apparent non-event in that they have no clear recollection of when it happened in their lives though they claim the experience.

Some are taught that they are filled with the Spirit “by faith,” again, that there is no actual evidence, or that they are automatically filled somehow when “they become a Christian.”

This is what I refer to as being Spirit-filled by osmosis, in that one is somehow filled through effortless, unconscious assimilation in which no actual choice was ever made, there is no recall of when the event happened, and the process cannot be classified as experiential.

That’s kind of cool when you think about it, but it’s not New Covenant. It is not New Covenant whatsoever.

You Can Trust Your Heart With God

Real Christianity

If God is anything at all, He is faithful. He won’t let us down. He’ll always be there. Betrayal is the farthest thing from His mind. And though we might not be able to figure out why, He really does love us all, and it hurts Him to have those He has created reject Him.

And we think, how in the world can God be all-powerful and strong and yet so easily hurt by mere human beings? Maybe it’s because He’s not the big bad unfeeling ogre some people think He is. He really can be touched by our pain and feelings of helplessness.

But He also knows that freedom comes with a price and He can’t be there every five seconds to protect us from every little happenstance. There is no growth in that. God puts a very high price on maturity and maturity demands pain…

The Classic Church Building: A Non-Biblical Wineskin (Part 1)

Real Christianity

The Community of the Lord was built for speed. It began in the upper room of a house. The early Church had no time to even consider the things we in the present deem wholly indispensible. They were out to save the world. The Community was expanding by leaps and bounds. Growth was rapid from the very beginning and never slowed forthree centuries. It began on its very first day in Jerusalem with a harvest of three thousand souls.

Imagine that. Many churches of today work for long decades to accumulate a few hundred loyal members. Many are presently trying to keep what they have and are failing miserably.

It was twenty years ago when I began receiving from the Lord the notes and revelations that would eventually become my first book. But I knew by the 1970’s, within a very short time of studying the…

It’s been said that only Christians eat their own, and sadly has become more a reality than what some would like to admit and a subject many would like to simply avoid. But the truth remains the same regardless how much we would like to ignore this fact, that people have and are getting hurt in the one place where there should be no hurt – church.

We’ve all been there, where something was said about another believer and the result was that person on the receiving end of said comment became hurt to the point where they all but gave up, on the church, on the body and ultimately, on their faith. It does happen. But it shouldn’t. Yet astoundingly, there are three professions in the United States which have a high rate of abuse, they are; Police, Military and Pastoral (National Organization From Victims of Abuse

So You Want to do Reiki, Yoga, Tarot Cards, Psychic Readings. etc?

Because I get so many daily views on previous Reiki posts, I’m adding this additional info for your perusal.  Indeed, Reiki’s popularity has exploded in the past few years. Why? Because, in a bizarre sort of way, it appears to have a supernatural force behind it, beyond the natural ability of the Reiki practitioner. The client subject may feel a temporary relief from symptoms which would seem to validate Reiki’s value. However, what both practitioner and client don’t realize is that by utilizing Reiki, both have opened the door to the occult. Reiki practitioners deny this, and claim that Reiki is from God, or Christ, but that’s not true. If indeed they believe they are children of Christ, they would follow His example and do what he did, not what an occultic source teaches them.

They don’t understand that Satan can and does produce lying signs and wonders, and there is no limit to his bag of tricks. I mentioned Yoga, Tarot Cards, psychic readings; the list goes on and could be any number of so-called healing modalities. People may become victims, unaware of the danger they are given themselves over to when they buy into these demonic occult practices.

Some Reiki practitioners readily admit that Reiki is indeed a spiritual practice, and argue that Reiki is from God, even the Christian God, the Lord Jesus Christ. How can that be since Reiki was originated and developed by a Buddhist? It doesn’t fit. It’s simply not God’s way of healing. That should at least warn Christians not to participate in it.

“Thus says the LORD: “Learn not the way of the heathen, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them,” Jeremiah 10:2

If what I’ve posted is not enough to convince you that participating in Reiki is dangerous and playing with fire, please read this man’s journey into the occult healing modalities and practices. What seemed so pleasant and good at first, almost destroyed him.

Contaminated by the Spirit of this World

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:15

There is a reason why God is reminding us to not associate ourselves with this world, or the things in it (to separate if you will) for that spirit of this world, which is Antichrist, is becoming more open and more clear now than every before. Let me give some examples how things have changed in recent years.

When American Idol came on the scene, introducing millions to what was nothing more than a national singing contest, it started out innocent enough with its bubblegum flavored entertainment, middle America appeal, quirky judges and something that, for the most part, was family entertainment. That was the hook Satan played – and it worked.

As soon as Satan convinced millions of Parents…
