Welcome to the Matrix Church

I came across a blog a couple of nights ago that actually gave voice explicitly to what I’ve been thinking. (Please notice I did not say “musing”). I’ve been thinking about this church/Matrix issue seriously! And believe me, if I hadn’t experienced it first hand, if I haven’t seen the Matrix evidenced in the lives of the church friends who are still “inside”, if I haven’t witnessed this Stepford like spiritual “dumbing down” of people in the various churches, large and small, not only in my own community but in the larger mega churches around the US, then I wouldn’t be so alarmed. But folks, it’s TRUE This is the meaning of APOSTASY we were warned of in scripture! The Body of Christ must wake up to the reality.  The one caveat I want to mention at this point is that once out of the apostate Matrix church, we have an even greater responsibility to live for Christ, walk in the Spirit and sound the alarm for others who may still be so mesmerized by “judging themselves..by themselves”, i.e, ; (just because everyone else is doing it, it must be OK). No! It’s not OK! Come out of her My people! Be ye separate from the world! In it, by not of it!

Then why do you struggle with it so? If you didn’t struggle with it all, you likely wouldn’t bother with blogs like this one and like a host of others. If you didn’t struggle with it, you wouldn’t be looking beyond the pulpit in front of you. But “you’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain.” All you know for sure is that your church experience feels strangely like it might actually be “The Church in the Matrix.” All you know for sure is that something isn’t quite right. I understand that feeling, for I have been there too.
