Welcome to the Matrix Church

I came across a blog a couple of nights ago that actually gave voice explicitly to what I’ve been thinking. (Please notice I did not say “musing”). I’ve been thinking about this church/Matrix issue seriously! And believe me, if I hadn’t experienced it first hand, if I haven’t seen the Matrix evidenced in the lives of the church friends who are still “inside”, if I haven’t witnessed this Stepford like spiritual “dumbing down” of people in the various churches, large and small, not only in my own community but in the larger mega churches around the US, then I wouldn’t be so alarmed. But folks, it’s TRUE This is the meaning of APOSTASY we were warned of in scripture! The Body of Christ must wake up to the reality.  The one caveat I want to mention at this point is that once out of the apostate Matrix church, we have an even greater responsibility to live for Christ, walk in the Spirit and sound the alarm for others who may still be so mesmerized by “judging themselves..by themselves”, i.e, ; (just because everyone else is doing it, it must be OK). No! It’s not OK! Come out of her My people! Be ye separate from the world! In it, by not of it!

“You’ve sat on the church pew week after week, month after month, and year after year. Why? Partly because that is what Christians do, or so you’ve been told. After all, that’s the way it has always been done, hasn’t it? Christians “go” to church, don’t they? They go to church, sit neatly in rows as they look at the back of the head in front of them, listen to some announcements, sing some songs, put some money in a passing plate, listen to a sermon, sing another song, and go home, only to do it all over again the following week. No one questions it. Such is church life for many. Such is the church experience for many. It’s what we do.

Then why do you struggle with it so? If you didn’t struggle with it all, you likely wouldn’t bother with blogs like this one and like a host of others. If you didn’t struggle with it, you wouldn’t be looking beyond the pulpit in front of you. But “you’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain.” All you know for sure is that your church experience feels strangely like it might actually be “The Church in the Matrix.” All you know for sure is that something isn’t quite right. I understand that feeling, for I have been there too.

“You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain … It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. What truth? That you are a slave, Neo, like everyone else you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind. You have to see it for yourself. All I am offering is the truth, nothing more.” (Morpheus)

For thus says the Lord. I am that I am.

I have created one church, one Bible, and one truth. Therefore, all who profess to believe in Me must believe to one truth, one God, and one church. Where do we find one church? Where? Why are there so many organizations that use My Name and do not bow to the will of God for one church?

In My Word I condemned factions and denominations or sects of My church. You will find it in I Corinthians 1.

Obey My Word now! Return to the days of the book of Acts where My people were one; humbling themselves under the might hand of God.

Turn away from the sins that you have. Destroy your divisions of Me. Become a local church that will not, under any circumstances, change or alter what the Bible says.

Leave any church that will not confess that God is all and they are nothing. Return to the humility of the first century church. Look at what My Word says and believe it; not what some theologian interprets. Stand for all of God’s Word and lead the world to Christ!
